Occupational Therapist Outpatient Job in Sarasota, FL

You will work as an Occupational Therapist in the outpatient rehabilitation clinic at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, Florida. This is a 91-week travel assignment with a start date of July 20, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekly pay: $2,190

Role Details

• Neuro occupational therapy position serving diverse diagnoses including stroke, spinal cord injury, head injury, and Parkinson's disease
• All patient care delivered in 1:1 sessions lasting 60 minutes each
• Typical caseload of 8 patients per day
• No float required—you remain in your assigned outpatient clinic
• Opportunity to take on musculoskeletal diagnosis cases if interested

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Prior outpatient OT experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Knowledge of the Fugl-Meyer Upper Extremity Assessment, or ability to learn it quickly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with paired vagus nerve stimulation protocol (Vivistim)
• Vestibular therapy experience
