PCU Registered Nurse Job in Florence, SC

MUSC Health - Florence is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a travel assignment offering the opportunity to expand your clinical expertise in a step-down care environment while working with a supportive team.

Assignment Details

• Location: Florence, SC
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: September 28, 2026
• Shift: 3x12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly pay: $1,932

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatric populations
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4
• Float within scope to meet facility needs; agency staff float first
• Participate in holiday rotation
• Work every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Facility may call off up to 1 shift per 2 weeks

Requirements

• Current South Carolina or Compact license in hand prior to start date
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• Prior ICU and/or step-down experience required
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• First-time travelers accepted with qualifying experience

Preferred Qualifications

• NIHSS certification
• Epic charting system experience
