Operating Room RN Job in Charleston, SC

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at MUSC Health Charleston, providing direct patient care across all surgical specialties. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting September 28, 2026.

Schedule & Hours

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Saturday, Sunday, and one weekday schedule
• Facility may call off approximately one shift per two weeks; called-off hours can be broken into segments
• Block schedule available with manager approval based on unit needs

Your Role

• Scrub and circulate surgical procedures across all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
• Float within scope to meet facility needs between like units and sister facilities as required
• Provide care for patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Utilize the EPIC charting system

Requirements

• Current SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• BLS certification required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• Two years of nursing experience strongly preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
