RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers welcome
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Cardiac telemetry experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Care for adult patients undergoing the following procedures: TEE/Cardioversions, PCI, Diagnostic Heart Catheterization, Peripheral Vascular percutaneous procedures, Pacemakers, Cardiac Ablation, Structural Heart Procedures, and Loop Recorder insertions
• Required skills include: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care/management, heparin protocols, interpretation of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, management of cardiac and vasoactive drips, pacemaker management, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, sheath removal, TAVR, TR Band, ventricular assist device (LVAD/RVAD), and titration of cardiac, vasoactive, and insulin drips
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more
• Travelers may be floated to any campus within the health system as needed
• Patient ratio of 5 during day shifts
