Med Surg RN Job in Mt. Pleasant, MI

McLaren Central Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med Surg to join the team on a temporary basis. This is a night-shift role offering stability and predictable scheduling for a healthcare professional ready to make an impact in a medical surgical setting.

Role Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients in a medical surgical setting
• Participate in patient and family teaching and education
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting
• Recognize each patient as a unique individual and ensure mutual goal setting between the Registered Nurse and patient
• Ensure patient rights and privacy are protected at all times

Schedule and Expectations

• 3x12 night shifts per week
• Every third weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Current Michigan nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of medical surgical experience
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Pediatrics experience preferred

Assignment Details

This temporary assignment runs for 91 days, beginning August 24, 2026. You will earn $1,995.84 weekly. This role is based in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan at McLaren Central Michigan.
