Physical Therapist Job in Oxnard, CA

St Johns Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, CA is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a weekend requirement to work either every Saturday or every Sunday. Your weekly pay is $2,471.

You will provide therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings based on position need. Inpatient coverage includes general inpatient, rehabilitation, and sub-acute units, with common diagnoses including spinal cord injuries, stroke, brain injuries, orthopedic, general medical, surgical, bariatric, ICU, cardiac, and ventilated or long-term care patients. Outpatient coverage includes orthopedic and sports medicine clinics located within 20 minutes of the main facility, with patient populations in orthopedic, neuro, and pediatrics. A lymphedema program is also available.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• BLS certification required
• Floor-specific orientation consists of 3 shifts

Additional Details:

• Uniform provided: polo shirt with khaki or black pants
• Charting system: Cerner
• Holiday rotation with permanent staff, typically one major and one minor holiday
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or up to 3 shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks
• No Rehab Aides, OTAs, or PTAs on unit
