ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - ICU Float Pool

Job Details:

• Provide care to ICU boarders located in the PACU unit
• Primary patient population will be Trauma overflow; previous trauma training is not required
• Float to ED for ICU holds or to other ICU/Stepdown units based on need and census
• Unit operating hours are Monday 7:00 AM through Saturday 7:00 PM; no Sundays
• Assess, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician
• Collaborate with patients, family members, and healthcare team members to individualize patient care
• Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care in accordance with standards of nursing practice
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 1 year of experience in area of clinical specialty preferred
• Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
