Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 night shifts
• Float required within skillset and acuity level
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays as needed
• No on-call required
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required
• Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment to be considered
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Charting system experience required - Cerner
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: ACLS
• Required skills include: Accessing/Managing Ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Chest tubes, CVA management, Feeding tube care and management, Heparin Protocols, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Post MI care, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Pre/Post neurosurgery, Renal failure management, Spinal cord injury care, Starting and maintaining IVs, Surgical drains, Telemetry, Total joint replacement, Tracheostomy care/management, Traumatic Brain Injury care, and Wound Care/Wound Vac
• Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretary
