Telemetry RN Job in Baltimore, MD

MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Telemetry unit in Baltimore, MD. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting November 10, 2026, with 4x12 day shifts at $2,420 per week.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in a Med Surg/Telemetry setting with ED boarder responsibilities. This position involves cardiac telemetry monitoring—both on-unit and remote—and collaboration with rapid response and code teams. You'll work alongside ER holding staff and maintain a patient ratio of 6:1 across days, nights, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients using cardiac telemetry systems
• Provide direct nursing care to med-surg and telemetry patients
• Respond to rapid response and code calls
• Float to same level of care as needed
• Chart using the Cerner system
• Cover weekend shifts

Requirements

• Current RN license (Maryland compact or MD state license required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent med-surg or telemetry experience within the last 7 years
• At least 1 completed travel assignment
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Two supervisory references required, including one from your most recent assignment
