ICU RN Job in Mesa, Arizona

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit at Banner Desert Medical Center, located at 1400 S Dobson Road in Mesa, Arizona. This is a 12-week assignment beginning November 9, 2026, with a day shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week. You'll earn $2,416 weekly.

In this role, you will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for ICU patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards. You'll conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs, while identifying discharge planning requirements. You'll review patient histories, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal findings promptly to physicians and the care team.

You'll formulate and implement individualized plans of care tailored to each patient's specific needs and medical requirements. Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team is essential to develop realistic, measurable patient goals. You may delegate and supervise activities of licensed nurses and other healthcare personnel. Throughout the assignment, you'll evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, adjusting the plan as needed. Timely, accurate, and legible documentation of all assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation in patient records is critical.

This position requires you to provide evidence-based care and actively participate in shared leadership and quality improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience
• Stroke care experience within the past 12 months
• NIHSS certification
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Professional nursing certification
