OR RN Job in Corpus Christi, TX

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Doctors Regional Medical Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. This is a 13-week travel position offering you the opportunity to support surgical teams across multiple specialties in a fast-paced, technical environment.

Schedule and Hours

• Primary shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (8 hours daily)
• Weekend call shifts: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Weekday call shifts: 3:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Call shifts are mandatory based on unit needs
• Weekly pay: $2,161

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care with a 1:1 patient ratio in the operating room
• Support surgical procedures including neurosurgery, urology, general surgery, colorectal, plastics, podiatry, ENT, and orthopedics
• Operate and manage advanced equipment including Brain Lab, Da Vinci, and Microscope systems
• Float to Bay Area OR locations as needed
• Document and maintain records in the Meditech EMR system
• Follow all hospital policies for surgical services

Requirements

• Current RN licensure
• Demonstrated attention to detail and motivation
• Ability to work in a dynamic surgical environment
• Willingness to adhere to hospital dress code (hospital scrubs required)

This assignment begins September 21, 2026, and runs for 91 days. You will join a surgical team performing diverse procedures and working with state-of-the-art technology.
