Operating Room RN Job in Houston, TX

You are a registered nurse seeking a 13-week travel assignment in the operating room at Woman's Hospital of Texas in Houston, Texas. This position offers you the opportunity to work in a specialized 9-bed OR unit with a dynamic surgical team.

Schedule and Compensation

• Shift pattern: 4x10 days per week
• Hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Weekly pay: $2,169
• Assignment duration: 91 days
• Start date: September 14, 2026

Role Responsibilities

You will work as a circulating nurse in the OR, supporting general, gynecological, genitourinary, and pediatric surgical cases. Your duties will include assisting with both open and laparoscopic procedures. Robotic surgery experience is preferred. You will be required to work one Saturday or Sunday each week and participate in on-call coverage as needed. Night shift coverage is provided by on-call staff.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Documented circulating experience in general, GYN, GU, and pediatric surgery
• Proficiency with open and laparoscopic surgical cases
• Scrub attire: Burgundy or Royal Blue
