PCU - Progressive Care Unit

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Stepdown Neuro unit position with a patient ratio of 4:1 during the day and 1:5 at night
• Every other weekend requirement
• Self-scheduling available with open block scheduling accommodated
• 36 orientation hours provided
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; travel experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• No restrictions on time off except for the following blackout dates: 2/8/26 and 3/26/26
• Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius to be considered
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Required skills: interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, and cardiac experience
• Cardiac experience required; Neuro experience is a plus
• Charting system: Paragon
• TN or compact license required
• Care for adult patients with diagnoses including observation cases from the ER and cardiac outpatients such as cardiac cath, TEE, EP studies, pacemakers, vascular lab, pre/post cath, angio, and EP procedures
• Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
