Opportunity:

RN - MICU

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Must be located more than 75 miles from facility
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• EPIC charting experience is required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 with occasional 1:1 based on acuity
• Care for adult and geriatric patients in a 16-bed MICU setting
• Manage patients with diagnoses including sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, heart failure, alcohol withdrawal, overdose, multi-organ failure, post cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, and DKA
• Experience with special equipment required: CRRT, IABP, Impella, and ECMO
• Required skills include: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, arterial line management, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, ABG interpretation, suctioning, isolation precautions and PPE, blood product administration, CVP monitoring, CVVHD/CRRT, emergency medications, high flow nasal cannula management, IV insulin protocols, pulmonary artery line monitoring, and urine output assessment
• Candidates will be required to float
• Pre-approved time off limited to one request per contract
• 24 orientation hours provided
