Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Weekend coverage required
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Treat patients across multiple age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Conduct patient and family assessments encompassing physiological, spiritual, and emotional areas
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
• Collaborate and communicate with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate daily patient care plans
• Provide competent, compassionate, and cost-effective patient care in accordance with evidence-based nursing practices
• Monitor patient care interventions, assess therapies, evaluate outcomes, and intervene as warranted
• Accurately document and update all treatment information in the patient's electronic health record
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Med Surg/Telemetry required
• Travel experience required
• Previous EPIC experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Valid California RN license required
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Skills required include cardiac telemetry, telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, central line care and management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of cardiac and vasoactive drips, wound care, tracheostomy care, and IV management
