Cath Lab Technologist Job in Bakersfield, CA

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at Memorial Hospital - Bakersfield, a STEMI receiving facility. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 6, 2026, with 3x12-hour day shifts at $3,652.92 weekly.

Your Role

You will support cardiac catheterization procedures in a high-volume environment handling 10–22 cases per day across 5 specialized suites. You will work with one other technologist per case, rotating between scrub and hemodynamic monitoring responsibilities. Your duties include assisting with cardiac, coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro intervention procedures.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage conscious and moderate sedation cases and airway management
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips including Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors
• Operate balloon pump equipment
• Work with Cerner charting system
• Support both scheduled and emergent inpatient cases

Schedule and On-Call

Day shifts with flexible 10-hour or 12-hour scheduling options are available. You will rotate call for inpatient and emergent cases one time per week. Weekend call is required one weekend per month, Friday evening through Monday morning. The facility may accommodate block scheduling on weekends and may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Current catheterization lab experience
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• Fluoroscopy certification (RCIS or CCT credentials will not be accepted)
