Cath Lab Technologist Job in Bakersfield, CA

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at Memorial Hospital – Bakersfield, a 91-day travel assignment starting November 16, 2026. This role offers you the opportunity to support a busy cardiac catheterization lab across five specialized suites.

Shift and Schedule

• 4x10 day shifts with every other weekend requirement
• Rotate on-call for inpatient and emergent cases on weeknights
• Weekend call runs Friday evening through Monday morning, subject to change based on unit needs
• Float as needed when census requires

Your Responsibilities

• Work cases with a two-tech model: one scrubs while one monitors hemodynamics
• Support RNs who manage conscious sedation and Lead Techs who coordinate room assignments
• Handle cardiac drips including Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors
• Manage balloon pump operations and airway procedures
• Support 10 to 22 cases per day across coronary, peripheral, vascular, neuro, and EP suites

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Current cath lab experience
• Proficiency with conscious and moderate sedation and procedural processes
• STEMI receiving facility experience
• Skills in cardiac, coronary, vascular, peripheral, EP, general IR, and neuro intervention
• ARRT Certification
• BLS Certification
• Fluoroscopy Certification
• Comfort with airway management and hemodynamic monitoring

• RCIS and CCT certifications are not accepted for this role
• You will use Cerner for charting
• Radiation badge provided by agency

Compensation

You will earn $3,694 per week.
