Physical Therapist Job in Northridge, CA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Physical Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, a Level 2 Trauma Center. You'll work 8-hour day shifts, typically Tuesday through Saturday, though schedules may vary to Wednesday–Sunday or Thursday–Monday based on facility needs. Shift start times depend on your assignment.

Your Role

You will treat patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. In inpatient environments, you may see up to 13 patients per day, addressing orthopedic, post-surgical, neurological, trauma, cardiac, and med-surg conditions. Outpatient PT/OT focuses on orthopedic and neurological cases, with patient volumes up to 9 per day. You'll cover your assigned area and may float to other units as needed. The rehab unit specializes in neurological, spinal cord injury, and trauma cases. Rehabilitation aides and support staff are typically available to assist you.

What You'll Need

• Valid state Physical Therapist license
• BLS Certification
• Minimum one year of experience (travel experience preferred; trauma experience preferred)

Facility Details

The facility uses Cerner Powerchart for charting. You'll receive 1.5 days of department-specific orientation, including Cerner training if needed. Dress code requires a maroon polo shirt, dark-colored pants, and closed-toe shoes; a lab coat is optional. Holidays are not required.
