ICU RN Job in Sun City, AZ

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Banner Boswell Medical Center, located at 10401 W Thunderbird Blvd in Sun City, Arizona. This is a 3x12 day shift position for 89 days, starting November 16, 2026. Your weekly pay is $2,416.

In this role, you will provide direct patient care in the ICU, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions according to organizational policies and professional standards. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs. You will review patient histories, diagnostic results, and laboratory data, communicating any abnormal findings to physicians and the care team.

You will develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members, including discharge planning. You will delegate and supervise activities of licensed and unlicensed healthcare team members. You will evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, adjusting your plan of care as needed. All assessments, interventions, and evaluations must be documented accurately and timely in patient records.

You will participate in unit and facility shared leadership activities, supporting staff education, role development, and orientation of staff, patients, and families. You may float between the Boswell and Del Webb campuses as needed, with Boswell as your primary assignment.

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Current acute care experience within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the ICU specialty
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
