Telemetry RN Job in Orangeburg, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position at MUSC Health Orangeburg in Orangeburg, SC. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 22, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Telemetry (Med/Surg)
• Shift: 3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts (6:45 PM–7:15 AM)
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $1,932

About the Role

You will work in a new 18-bed unit currently in its building phase. Your responsibilities include bedside patient monitoring with telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry capabilities. Floating within your scope to meet facility needs is required. The unit has 24/7 house supervisor coverage, with leadership available by phone. Facility may call off one shift per two-week period. Block schedule requests may be submitted for approval but are not guaranteed.

Patient Population

You will care for adults and geriatric patients with common medical conditions including diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, ESRD, chronic respiratory illnesses, and arrhythmias.

Requirements

• Current RN license: South Carolina or Compact license required at start date
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Demonstrated competency in telemetry interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition

Preferred Qualifications

• Community hospital background
• Epic charting system experience

Facility Information

You will have access to interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, phlebotomy, social services, rapid response teams, and unit secretary support. Parking is available at no cost. Scrub color is Royal Blue.
