RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Day shift position working 4x10-hour shifts with start times varying between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM
• Shifts continue until cases are completed
• Every other weekend (EOW) schedule with on-call requirements
• Unit operates Monday through Friday; weekend call rotation covers Friday evening through Monday morning for urgent, emergent, and inpatient cases
• Unit operates 5 suites handling 10-22 cases per day including cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general interventional radiology, electrophysiology, and neuro intervention cases
• Must have current Cath Lab experience; cross-training not required for travelers
• Must be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, and airway management
• Must be proficient with cardiac drips such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressins, as well as balloon pumps
• Scrubbing not required
• Basic EKG interpretation test assigned during orientation
• Charting systems include Merge for Cath Lab documentation and Cerner for hospital documentation
• Radiation badge provided by agency
• Hospital scrubs provided
• No floating required
• BSN not required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), and NIHSS (must be through AHA)
• Current California RN license required
