ICU RN Job in Gilbert, AZ

Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, Arizona is seeking a registered nurse for its Intensive Care Unit. This is a 3x12 night shift position with an 89-day duration, beginning November 30, 2026. You will earn $2,434 per week.

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document comprehensive nursing care for ICU patients
• Conduct thorough patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Review patient history and physical examination with patients and families within appropriate timeframes
• Monitor diagnostic and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care, including discharge planning
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, modifying plans as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in patient records
• Participate in education, role development, and orientation of facility personnel
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel in quality care delivery

Requirements

• Current valid RN license in Arizona or compact RN licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience required
• Acute care experience within the past 12 months as a registered nurse in the specialty area required
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and respond quickly to unexpected patient care needs
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
