Physical Therapist Job in Mountain View, MO

Mercy St Francis Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient clinic position in Mountain View, MO. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 20, 2026.

Position Details

• Day shift: 5x8 hour shifts per week with 36 guaranteed hours
• Occasional weekend hours required; no call responsibilities
• Patient caseload: up to 10 patients per day
• Treat neuro, orthopedic, and developmental cases

Your Responsibilities

• Plan and implement physical therapy evaluations and treatment programs based on patient physical, developmental, and psychosocial needs
• Provide advisory services to team members to support quality patient care
• Demonstrate competency in equipment used for delivery of modalities

Requirements

• Current Missouri Physical Therapist licensure
• BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Card)
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience
• General knowledge of evaluation and treatment principles for diverse diagnoses

Physical Demands

• Heavy lifting, extensive bending and standing
• Pushing up to 40 lbs., pulling up to 60 lbs., gripping up to 50 lbs., pinching up to 15 lbs.
• Occasional kneeling, crouching, and crawling

Compensation
