Telemetry RN Job in Asheville, NC

You'll work as an RN on the 36-bed Neurosciences unit (6 West) at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. This is a backfill travel position on the night shift, giving you the chance to deliver skilled nursing care in a specialized neuro telemetry setting.

Role Details

• Shift: 3x12 nights (6:45 PM–7:15 AM)
• Patient ratios: 5:1 to 6:1 on day shift; 7:1 stretch ratio on night shift
• Every other weekend rotation
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float to other med-surg floors as needed

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a neurosciences-focused unit
• Perform IV starts and Foley insertions
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Operate standard med-surg equipment
• Monitor and document patient status per telemetry protocols

Requirements

• Current RN license
• ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Neuro nursing experience preferred
