Job Details:

• Option to sign for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Patient ratios of 1:4-6
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• Float within service line to meet facility needs
• 5 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience required
• Must pass Relias EKG exam - Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias required
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Preferred certifications: CPI, NIHSS, BSN, TNCC
• Care for patients coming from ED, OR, or ICU
• Treat patients across services including geriatric trauma (55+), trauma cases (abuse/violence victims, MVA, MVC, falls), and acute care surgery (appendicitis, gallbladders, hernia repairs, fistulas, wounds, burns, TBI)
• Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required skills include: BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line blood draw, chest tubes (Emerson/Pleur-evac), high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), insulin, interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, management of dysrhythmias, Med/Surg, nasal cannula, oral suctioning, ortho trauma, oxygen administration, PCA, peripheral line care/management, peripheral nerve block catheters, phlebotomy, PICC line management, spinal cord injury, starting and maintaining IVs, surgical drains, total joint replacement, tracheostomy care/management, traumatic brain injury, wound care/wound vac
• Special equipment includes: lifts, restraints, wound vacs, traction, and external fixators
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
• Maximum of 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract; no RTO allowed during the first week of assignment
• Previous charge experience preferred
