Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 4x12 night shifts in the Med Surg/Telemetry Float Pool
• Patient ratio of 1:5 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Float within skillset required
• Scrubs not provided - navy color required
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must have completed a minimum of 1 prior travel assignment
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Must have either a compact license or an MD license
• Required skills include: Cardiac Telemetry, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Chest Tubes, Continuous Bladder Irrigation, CVA management, Feeding Tube Care and Management, Heparin Protocols, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Management of Dysrhythmias, Pacemakers, PCA, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC Line Management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal Failure, Seizure Disorders, Starting and Maintaining IVs, Substance Withdrawal, Tracheostomy Care/Management, Use of Rapid Response/Code Teams, and Wound Care/Wound Vac
• Caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• 16 hours of orientation provided
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretary
