Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• No on-call requirements
• Required to pick up one additional shift during each schedule period
• May be required to float to other units up to competency level based on organizational needs
• Facility reserves the right to call off shifts without penalty up to 48 hours for low census per 13-week contract, which may include full or partial shifts
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients including their families and caregivers
• Perform patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation using the nursing process
• Coordinate care between other medical professionals as needed
• Must have 2+ years of Med Surg/Tele experience
• Prior travel experience of at least one 13-week assignment required
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam including identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips
