CT Technologist PET/CT Tech Job in Rochester, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist with PET/CT experience for a travel position at URMC UR Imaging @ River Rd in Rochester, NY. This is an 89-day assignment beginning September 14, 2026, paying $1,997 per week.

Position Details

• 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
• Choice of 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• No weekends, no call, no holidays required

Your Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders
• Educate patients on procedures, equipment, and exams
• Position patients and perform CT and nuclear medicine imaging procedures
• Apply proper imaging techniques appropriate to patient age and ability
• Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapy per scope and standards of practice
• Analyze imaging results and identify quality issues, taking corrective action
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results
• Order, prepare, administer, store, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals per protocol
• Monitor patient condition continuously and respond to changes in status
• Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies in Clinical Nuclear Medicine rooms

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Tech and CT experience
• CT certification with PET/CT experience
• One of the following certifications: ARRT CT, NNMTCB CT, CNMT by NMTCB, or RT with NM certification by ARRT
• New York State License
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification

Preferred

• Knowledge of GE PET or Philips PET Scanners
