NICU RN Job in Austin, TX

You'll work a 13-week seasonal contract as an RN in a Level 3-4 NICU at North Austin Medical Center. Your assignment runs from October 5, 2026, with day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week. There are no on-call requirements.

This NICU operates 97 beds on the second floor. You'll care for 3-4 patients per RN, working primarily alongside other RNs and one clerk during day shift. You'll use standard NICU equipment including Medfusion pumps, Alaris pumps, Giraffe isolettes, and GE monitors. Documentation occurs through CPN and Meditech EMR systems.

What we're looking for:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience
• NRP and BLS certifications required
• Prior travel healthcare experience preferred

Compensation and logistics:

• Weekly pay: $1,971
• Contract length: 91 days
• Shift: 3x12 Days (7:00 AM–7:00 PM)

Facility requirements:

• Navy scrubs required
• No nail polish or artificial nails permitted
