NICU RN Job in McKinney, TX

You will work as a registered nurse in the Level III NICU at Medical City McKinney, located on the 2nd floor of the main hospital. This is a 13-week travel assignment offering a stable night shift schedule with the flexibility of self-scheduling.

Schedule and Hours

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week (7 PM to 7 AM)
• Variable weekend schedule
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No on-call requirements

Clinical Role

• Patient ratio of 2:3
• Floating as needed
• Attend deliveries, including C-sections
• Operate BCPAP and HFNC equipment
• Use Meditech and CPN documentation systems

Requirements

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Minimum 2+ years of hospital or specialty experience
• Level III NICU experience required
• Meditech and CPN documentation system experience preferred

Compensation and Duration

You will earn $2,218 per week. The assignment runs for 91 days, starting September 14, 2026.

Dress Code and Appearance Standards

• Royal blue and/or white scrubs required
• No artificial, gel, or next-gen nails
• Hair must be neat and clean, pulled back if shoulder length or longer; no extreme styles or colors
• Body art should be covered whenever possible
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
