NICU RN Job in Plano, TX

You'll work as an RN in the NICU at Medical City Plano, providing direct care to neonatal patients on 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 14, 2026, with a commitment of 3 shifts per week.

Shift and Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
• Four weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
• No on-call responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide direct care with patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, with 1:4 being rare
• Manage equipment including HFOV, central lines, conventional vents, CPAP, NIPPV, and ostomy care
• Support surgical procedures (excluding cardiac and neurological cases)
• Deliver respiratory support and micro-preemie care
• Float to the nursery as needed
• Document and communicate using EMR systems CPN and Meditech

Required Qualifications

• RN degree
• Level II–III NICU experience required; Level III–IV experience preferred
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Teamwork-oriented personality

Compensation and Details

You'll receive $2,080 per week. Wear royal blue scrubs to the unit.
