NICU RN Job in Odessa, TX

You will provide direct patient care to neonates in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Odessa Regional Medical Center. This is a 24-hour night shift position for a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 31, 2026.

About the Role

As the RN on the NICU team, you will hold shift accountability for delivering care to neonatal patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state regulations and hospital policy. You will demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning safe care delivery. You will maintain your clinical competencies through continuing education and delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff. You will also provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel involved in patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required; local candidates are not accepted
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
• RN degree

Position Details

• Shift: 24-hour nights
• No on-call responsibilities
• Navy scrubs required
• Weekly pay: $2,367
• Assignment length: 91 days
• Start date: August 31, 2026
