NICU RN Job in Plano, TX

You will work as an RN in a 41-bed Level II-III NICU at Medical City Plano, providing specialized care to neonates across a range of acuity levels. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 14, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Four weekend shifts required per four-week schedule
• No on-call responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:4 (1:4 assignments are rare)
• Operate specialized equipment including HFOV, central lines, conventional ventilators, CPAP, NIPPV, and ostomy care
• Provide respiratory support and micropremie care
• Support surgical procedures (excluding head and heart surgery)
• Float to nursery as needed
• Work within a team-oriented environment

Qualifications and Certifications

• Current RN license
• Level II-III NICU experience is required; candidates without this experience will not be considered
• Level III-IV experience is preferred
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required

Work Environment

• Royal blue scrubs required
• Electronic medical record systems: CPN and Meditech

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,218.
