Telemetry RN Job in Rochester, NY

Rochester General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week Telemetry assignment in Rochester, NY. You will work 3x12 rotating shifts with alternating 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM schedules, including every other weekend. Weekly pay is $2,204.

Role Requirements

• Active New York Single State RN license required (NY is not Compact; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 1–2 years of acute care experience within the past 6 months
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications
• EPIC charting experience is mandatory
• Float required between med/surg units within your skillset

Clinical Responsibilities

• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response, including dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Rapid Response and Code team activation
• IV therapy, phlebotomy, peripheral line placement and maintenance
• Oxygen administration via nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management
• Isolation precautions and appropriate PPE use
• Blood product administration and heparin protocols

Assignment Details

• Patient ratios: 1:5 to 1:7
• Scrub colors: any combination of navy blue and white
• Every other holiday coverage may be required
• Up to three shifts may be cancelled by the client during the 13-week period
• Requested Time Off (RTO) must be submitted at application and cannot exceed 10 days
