Med Surg RN Job in Springfield, TN

NorthCrest Medical Center is seeking an RN for a Med Surg travel position. You will work the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3x12 schedule, with every other weekend required. This is a 91-day assignment starting September 14, 2026.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with a 5:1 patient ratio
• Float between MS2 and MS3 units as needed
• Perform blood transfusions and IV and central line maintenance
• Document patient information using the Meditech Expanse system
• Operate Computer on Wheels, Pyxis medication dispensers, and Welch Allen vital sign machines

Experience & Requirements

• Current RN license
• Basic Med Surg experience with a focus on post-operative patients, particularly orthopedic cases
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred but not required

Unit Support & Environment

Unit secretaries are available during day shift and techs are available on all shifts to support your workflow. You will work in a well-equipped environment with standard medical technology and documentation systems.

Compensation & Scheduling

You will earn $1,885 per week. The position offers a structured schedule of 3 days per week, allowing flexibility in your time off.

Dress Code

Dark blue scrubs are required.
