ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Every-other weekend requirement
• Occasional holiday coverage required
• Patient ratio of 3-4:1
• Primary assignment at Tacoma location with potential float requirement to St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood, WA; St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw, WA; and St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA
• Care for emergency patients including stroke, STEMI, trauma, and ACS cases
• Unit features 33 beds including 2 trauma bays and 5 psych/seclusion rooms with 125-140 patients per day
• Ventilator experience required
• Lab draws required
• Charting via Epic EMR
• Scrub color requirement: Navy Blue (top and bottom)
• One day of floor-specific orientation provided
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Must have completed at least one previous travel assignment
• BSN not required
