Join Baptist Healthcare System, Inc. in Elizabethtown, KY as a Registered Nurse on the Medical-Surgical unit. This is an 89-day travel assignment starting September 28, 2026, offering you the opportunity to deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Position Details:

  • 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • 3x12 shift schedule with weekend and holiday rotation
  • Weekly pay: $2,545.60
  • 8-hour shifts

Your Responsibilities:

  • Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments within the RN scope of practice
  • Develop prioritized problem lists and determine desired outcomes in coordination with patients, families, and the inter-professional team
  • Implement patient care therapies and procedures with clinical autonomy, considering patient culture, age, and developmental level
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and communicate changes in patient condition appropriately
  • Recognize patient risk factors by collecting objective and subjective data; obtain health information from family as necessary
  • Delegate tasks appropriately and oversee team members in performance of patient care activities
  • Provide patient and family-centered education to address identified learning needs
  • Facilitate the discharge process, including discharge teaching and coordination with Case Management
  • Actively participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction, fall prevention, pressure ulcer prevention, and CAUTI monitoring
  • Promote a positive group dynamic and healing environment through nursing excellence grounded in evidence-based practice and current research
