Med Surg RN Job in Bowling Green, KY

You will work as an RN in a combined Orthopedic and Medical Surgical unit at Greenview Regional Hospital. This is a full-time travel position for 91 days, starting September 21, 2026.

About the Role

You will care for patients across 30 orthopedic beds and 37 medical surgical beds, typically managing a patient ratio of 6:1. Your schedule is 3 shifts of 12 hours each, nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. You will be required to work 4 weekend shifts per month, scheduled in month-long increments. You may float to inpatient units including CCU and ED to take patients and assist with tasks as needed.

Daily Operations

You will use the Meditech documentation system for patient records. Physicians occasionally perform bedside procedures, though this is less common than in critical care or emergency settings. You will work alongside PCTs, SNEs in tech roles, and unit secretaries during day shifts to support patient care and unit operations.

Requirements and Standards

Dress Code

Scrub top and bottoms are required. Long sleeve shirts under scrub tops or scrub jackets are permitted. Do not wear fleece, hoodies, sweatshirts, or sweaters. Shoes must be solid; no holes allowed. Denim and camouflage are not permitted.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $1,885.
