ICU RN Job in Sun City West, AZ

You will work as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit at Banner Del Webb Medical Center, located at 14502 W Meeker Blvd in Sun City West, Arizona. This is an 89-day travel assignment with a start date of November 9, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3 days per week, 12-hour day shifts
• Weekly pay: $2,416

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document comprehensive nursing care for ICU patients
• Complete thorough patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs, including discharge planning
• Formulate and revise care plans based on assessment data and patient and family input
• Implement care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of nursing personnel
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, adjusting plans as needed
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation in accordance with facility policy
• Provide nursing care based on physician orders and established nursing plans
• Delegate appropriately and supervise licensed nurses and other personnel
• Participate in education, orientation, and mentoring of facility staff and students
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, physicians, patients, and families
• Float between Banner Del Webb Medical Center and Banner Boswell Medical Center campuses as needed

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona or current compact state licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Acute care experience must have occurred within the past 12 months in your specialty area
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification are preferred
• Ability to maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the ICU setting
