ICU RN Job in Sun City, AZ

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Banner Boswell Medical Center, located at 10401 W Thunderbird Blvd in Sun City, Arizona. This is a travel position with a duration of 89 days, beginning October 19, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts (days)
• Weekly pay: $2,446.20

Role Responsibilities

You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of ICU patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. Your duties include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Reviewing patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory results, reporting abnormal findings to physicians and caregivers
• Formulating and implementing individualized plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
• Delegating and supervising licensed and non-licensed healthcare team members
• Evaluating patient and family responses to care and teaching, adjusting the plan as needed
• Documenting all assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in patient records
• Participating in shared leadership, education, and orientation activities for staff, patients, and families

Assignment Details

You will float between Banner Boswell Medical Center and Del Webb campuses as needed, with Boswell as your primary campus.

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in the state of practice
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience required
• Experience working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the ICU specialty
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
