RN - Renal

Job Details:

• Work on an 18-bed Renal Medicine unit located on the 4th floor of the Main Campus
• Patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6 for RNs and 1:9 to 1:18 for CNAs
• Day shift includes 1 Charge RN, 4 floor nurses, 1 HUC, and 1 CNA; night shift includes 1 Charge RN, 4 floor nurses, and 1 HUC/CNA
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• Perform peritoneal dialysis and other renal medicine procedures
• Utilize a variety of equipment including mobilization tools, lift equipment, peritoneal dialysis cyclers, and scales
• Work within the Cerner EMR system
• May float to like units or serve as a sitter if needed
• RN scrub color: navy blue
• Required certifications: BLS, RN licensure, PCT certificate
• BSN preferred
• Certified peritoneal dialysis nurse preferred
• Cerner experience preferred
