ED RN Job in New York

St. James Hospital is seeking a registered nurse for its Emergency Department. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three nights per week on a split schedule.

Schedule and Assignment:

• 2 nights per week in the Emergency Department
• 1 night per week in Medical/Surgical
• Split schedule is required and not negotiable

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate and efficient care to patients experiencing life-threatening injuries or illnesses
• Quickly assess and stabilize patients and determine the best course of treatment
• Work independently and make quick, accurate decisions in high-stress situations
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals as part of a team
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times

Required Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
