Med Surg RN Job in Dickson, TN

Horizon Medical Center TN is seeking an RN for a Medical Surgical nursing position. This is a backfill travel assignment running 91 days, starting August 3, 2026.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Medical Surgical
• Shift: 3x12 hour days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday; 7:00 AM–7:00 PM)
• Weekly Pay: $1,813.32
• Duration: 91 days
• Facility: Full-service acute care hospital

Your Role:

You will provide comprehensive patient care within a full-service acute care environment, supporting a range of patient needs. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care across multiple service lines.

Patient Care Areas:

• Cardiovascular care
• Women's services
• Orthopedics
• General medical and surgical patients

As an RN on the Medical Surgical unit, you will assess patient conditions, administer medications and treatments, monitor vital signs, communicate with physicians and care team members, and document nursing care. You will work in a collaborative environment with physicians, therapists, social workers, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
