Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 12-hour day shifts with weekends as scheduled
• Acute care setting on a Medical Stroke unit (5N - MedSurg)
• Unit flexes up to 35 beds with an average daily census of 26-28 patients
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 with 3 PCT support
• Patient population includes COPD, pneumonia, abdominal pain, occasional surgical overflow, thyroidectomy, and stroke patients
• Experience with stroke patients and NIHSS certification is a plus
• Post-TPA care experience preferred
• Charting system: EPIC - travel experience and EPIC experience highly preferred
• Required certification: BLS (AHA)
• BSN not required
• Client may cancel 2 shifts per 13-week assignment or 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks
• Must submit an unexpired copy of candidate's driver's license with all submissions
