Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 3x12 schedule with weekday shifts and every other weekend required
• 36 or 48 hour contract options available
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Float within scope to like units to meet facility needs
• 29-bed Medical Surgical/Oncology unit serving adult patients
• Patient population includes medical and surgical oncology, palliative care, urology, and telemetry patients
• Patient ratios: 4-5:1 during days and 5-6:1 during nights
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• WV or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted for submission
• Required certifications: BLS, ONCC/ONS (Chemo)
• Charting system: Cerner experience required
• Required skills: Telemetry, central line draws, ports, blood administration, PCA pumps, bone marrow aspiration assist, and Pleurx chest tubes
• Chemotherapy administration experience preferred but not required
• Special equipment used includes PCA, CBI, feeding pumps, and bladder scanner
• Scrub color: Royal Blue/White (RN)
• Open to accommodating blocked schedule requests
• Holiday RTO requests should be limited to no more than 1 of the 3 major holidays
