Telemetry RN Job in Modesto, CA

Join Sutter Health Memorial Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Telemetry unit. This 91-day travel assignment offers you the opportunity to deliver specialized cardiac care to adult patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Position Details:

• Shift: 3x12 nights
• Every other weekend required; holidays as needed
• No on-call requirement
• Weekly pay: $2,029
• Start date: September 29, 2026

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Telemetry or PCU step-down experience
• Valid California RN license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency with Amiodarone, Heparin, Cardizem, and Dopamine drips
• Experience with pre/post Cardiac Cath, pre/post CABG, and pre/post TAVR care

Essential Clinical Skills:

• Cardiac telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Titration of cardiac drips
• Central line and peripheral line care and management
• Heparin protocols and blood product administration
• Pacemaker management (temporary and permanent)
• Post-cardiac angiogram and post-MI care
• TR band management
• Starting and maintaining IVs and phlebotomy
• Non-invasive airway management and oxygen administration
• Wound care

This role is ideal for experienced cardiac telemetry nurses seeking a well-defined travel assignment with predictable scheduling and no on-call demands. You will work alongside a supportive clinical team caring for complex cardiac patients requiring continuous monitoring and specialized interventions.
