ED Registered Nurse Job in Boscobel, WI

Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Emergency Department. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning November 23, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
• Shift: 3x12 nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Hours: 36 guaranteed per week
• Patient ratio: 1:3–4
• Unit size: 9-bed emergency department with 3 RNs on night shift

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $2,406

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the emergency department
• Work independently in a critical access hospital setting
• Potential to float to affiliated critical access hospitals and Med-Surg units as needed
• Every weekend shift requirement; holiday coverage if holiday falls on a weekend
• No on-call or callback requirements

Required Qualifications

• RN with active Wisconsin license
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience
• Associate Degree or higher
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• ACLS and PALS certifications
• Solid color scrubs required

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic charting experience
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC) certification

This role offers a structured schedule with guaranteed hours and no on-call obligations. You will work in a collaborative environment with a manageable patient ratio and the support of experienced night shift staff.
