Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 3x12 shift schedule with every other weekend requirement
• Unit is closed on Sundays; may float to another area within service line on Sundays
• No on-call required
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5
• Daily census of 12 patients with 13 beds on unit
• Treats adult patient population
• Patient diagnoses include medical surgical, post interventional, neuro overflow, surgical overflow, and pre/post operative cases
• High risk, high functioning, high turnover, and high paced unit
• Clinical skills required include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry, peripheral line care and management, phlebotomy, acute medicine, tube feeds, oxygen titration, and total care
• Must pass Relias EKG exam prior to starting
• Charting system: EPIC
• Dress code: Navy scrubs
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13-week contract; cancelled shifts must be the regular assigned shift length
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
