Med Surg RN Job in Santa Fe, NM

CHRISTUS St Vincent Regional Medical Center is seeking an RN for Medical/Surgical nursing on the night shift. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026, offering $2,300 weekly pay.

Shift and Schedule

• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Full-time position
• Weekend requirement: 2 to 4 rotated shifts per month
• On-call requirement: 2 to 4 rotated shifts per month
• Blocked scheduling not accommodated
• Float to all Med/Surg departments as needed

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex care to patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–6
• Utilize the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed
• Practice independently and demonstrate awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations

Systems and Requirements

• Use EPIC electronic medical records system
• Grey scrubs required
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• BLS Certification via AHA required
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
