ED Registered Nurse Job in Lakeport, CA

Sutter Health Lakeside Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with weekend rotation required and no on-call obligation.

Your Role:

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Manage care of assigned patients with a 4:1 patient ratio across days, nights, and weekends
• Direct activities of ancillary staff as needed
• Address physical, psycho-social, safety, rehabilitative, and learning needs of patients and their families
• Float occasionally to the ICU as required

Patient Population:

You will care for all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. You will respond to traumas, strokes, STEMIs, and basic medical emergencies.

Required Skills:

• Triage and patient assessment
• IV management and arterial line management
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Blood product administration
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Care of ventilated patients

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of ER experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Valid California state nursing license

Compensation:

Weekly pay is $1,984. Assignment duration is 91 days, with a start date of November 16, 2026.
